Common questions

Frequently asked.

Can I register an Estonian company from abroad?
Yes. Founders sign online with an Estonian ID card, an e-Residency card, Smart-ID or Mobile-ID. Without one of these, ask us about the other options.
What is a contact person and do I need one?
If your company’s management board is located abroad, Estonian law requires a contact person with an address in Estonia. Official documents can be delivered to them. We can arrange the address and contact person; ask about it in your enquiry.
How much share capital do I need?
The minimum is €0.01 per shareholder. If the share capital is below €2,500, the shareholders are liable for the difference up to €2,500.
How long does it take?
Official e-Residency guidance says the registry processes an application in up to 5 working days, often faster. Your quote includes a realistic timeline.
