Common questions

Frequently asked.

Can I register a Lithuanian company from abroad?
Registration can be filed online with a qualified e-signature. Founders who can’t sign electronically use the paper route. Tell us where the owners live and we will explain the simplest option.
How much share capital do I need?
At least €1,000, paid in cash. The capital is paid in before the company is registered.
Do I need an office in Lithuania?
The company’s registered office has to be in Lithuania. If you don’t have premises there, use our legal address service.
How long does it take?
The Centre of Registers usually decides within 1 working day for an online filing and up to 3 working days otherwise. Preparing documents and paying in the capital comes before that. Your quote includes a realistic timeline.
